Revolution is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.
Pastor Linda was appointed to Revolution UMC in July 2019. Linda and her husband Craig live in Kansas City. They have four children, a son-in-law, and two grandchildren. Linda attended Drury College (now University) and is attending Saint Paul School of Theology. Linda has a very positive outlook on life and sees God in all situations.
Children and Family Pastor
Candace Shaw has been a part of the Revolution community since 2010. She joined the staff in 2012 and transitioned to leading the children's ministry in 2016. Candace has an undergraduate degree in early childhood and elementary education and received her Masters in Divinity with an emphasis in theology from Truett Theological Seminary in 2007. Candace grew up in the Kansas City area and currently lives in Kansas City with her husband, two children, and two cats.
Scott Shaw grew up in the panhandle of Texas. He has lived in Kansas City since 2007 with his wife Candace and two children Logan and Charlotte. Scott has been leading worship since he was a freshman in high school. He graduated form Hardin Simmons University in 2001 with a bachelor of music in music education. In 2005, Scott completed a Master of Divinity from Truett Seminary and a Master of Church Music from Baylor University. Scott has been the worship pastor of Revolution church since 2010 and leads all church teams that make worship possible.
